About the Show

So you’ve listened to the show and still have questions about who we are and what we’re about? I have good news for you as I have answers for you. Shall we dig a little deeper?

What we aren’t
Before we dig in to what our show is about, let’s be up-front about we aren’t. We’re not a hardcore show that is going to fret on absolutely every shred of detail. Occasionally we’re going to say something that isn’t 100% accurate; we’re going to be wrong from time to time and that’s perfectly fine. We’re all human right?

We also aren’t going to belittle and/or judge our listeners, unless of course you love the barbarian puke doctor. Okay, we’re kidding of course! We’re here to have fun, and we hope you have fun listening to us having FUN recording the show.

And with that, let’s move on to what you can expect from the show.

What we ARE about
Our show, The Shattered Soulstone, is primarily a community focused and driven show. We will surely touch upon all aspects of Diablo III ranging from news to pvp to lore, but our focus is on you, the listener. Have a Diablo-related story, blog or podcast that you want to share? We would love to hear about it and share it with everyone.

If you take the time to send us something, we will take the time to share it on the show.

Frequency of the show has averaged out to every two’sh weeks (scheduling permitting). This gives our listeners a decent amount of time to contribute their thoughts to the show and/or responses to previous topics covered. We already have garnered a handful of regular contributors, so why not get involved today? We promise fluffy bunny hugs!

Oh, one other thing. Nevik has a quirky sense of humor, so you can expect the occasional non-sensical ramblings from time to time. Things are usually funnier in his head, but needless to say we hope for a fun and entertaining atmosphere for the show.

  1. Hello to the Shattered Soulstone gang !
I am writing to say how much I enjoy your podcast, and, more to the point, why I like it so much.
I am a gay white-collared male in my early 40’s who has never owned an Xbox or Game Cube, and whose entire computer gaming experience consists of Bejewled, Angry Birds and on-line gaming sites like Pogo. com.
After seeing all of the press and advertisments for Diablo 3, I decided it was time to ‘grow-up’ in the gaming world. I found out about the open Beta weekend and gave it a try. Needless to say I was immediatly overwhelmed with the game and died in about 5 seconds countless times. However, little by little, I started to figure out what was going on and, with my Barbarian , I made it as far as the skeleton king. I was not able to beat him, but, just getting there was an exponentially greater feeling of accomplishment than finding all of the golden eggs in Angry Birds.
I searched for podcasts and sites about Diablo to help me learn more and discovered your podcast. Listening at first was like hearing a foreign language. Yes, I am so new I had no idea what ‘WOW’ was until I googled it. Now I have learned about AOE and DPS …I still don’t understand the diff. between ‘kiting’ and ‘strafing’ but I am getting there. I appreciate your podcasts ability to help those of us who are afraid to admit just how new we are to this world. I can’t believe I am saying this but I am so excited for May 15!!!!

  2. I cant get to the forums not sure whats up with that. I tried but all it does is keep on reloading or something.
